Privacy Policy

Applies to the MAXDJ app for Android, the MAXDJ desktop app and MAXDJ web. Last updated 23 October 2026.

Short version: MAXDJ collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your music and your library stay on your devices.

What stays on your device

Your music files, your library (tracks, playlists, cues, beatgrids, ratings, play history), your settings and your recordings are stored on the device you use MAXDJ on. MAXDJ does not upload them anywhere.

What MAXDJ sends over a network - and only when you ask it to

Crash reports

If MAXDJ is installed from Google Play and it crashes, Android may send Google a crash report (the technical details of the crash, no personal content), which Google shows to the developer in Play Console - this follows the "usage and diagnostics" choice in your device's settings. MAXDJ adds no crash-reporting service of its own.

Children

MAXDJ is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
